Victoria's Spirit Square is designed to make Centennial Square more inviting to the general public and increase opportunities for celebrations and concert events. Centennial Square is designed to be a turn-key venue for community groups' events. The square comes equipped with stage, power and water access, seating, and equipment, including a sound system. Staff are on-hand to ensure smooth event set up.
Throughout the summer, the public can enjoy free lunchtime concerts and dance lessons in the evenings, browse weekend markets, and attend festivals and events almost every weekend. At Christmas, the square is the location of the official Light Up, marking the beginning of the Christmas season and the opening of Winter Wonderland, where families can warm up with hot drinks, roast marshmallows and listen to carols.
Stage DetailsApproximately 10'x20' cement stage year-round, with an additional 16'x20' wooden stage extension installed from late spring to early fall.
