The Canadian College of Performing Arts (CCPA) is located in beautiful Victoria, British Columbia and is owned and operated by The Canadian Heritage Arts Society (CHAS). CHAS is a non-profit society and registered charitable organization. The Canadian College of Performing Arts was established by the Canadian Heritage Arts Society in an endeavour to promote higher education and support young people who wish to establish careers and contribute to Canadian society. The Canadian College of Performing Arts benefits promising talent, attracting students from across the nation and around the world.

For over 20 years CHAS has become renowned across Canada for its summer and full season training and performance programs, beginning with Spirit of a Nation and continuing with the Canadian College of Performing Arts. Due to its outstanding success in preparing young Canadians for careers in the performing arts, graduates of this program have performed on London’s West End, on Broadway, and have been featured in major productions across the nation and around the world. Productions include the Stratford Festival, Shaw Festival, the Charlottetown Festival, Jesus Christ Superstar, Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, Joseph, Sunset Boulevard, Miss Saigon, Les Misérables, Hairspray, Mama Mia, Lion King and much more.

CREATING FUTURE CULTURAL AND ARTISTIC LEADERS
The Canadian College of Performing Arts offers a two-year (September – April) Enriched Performing Arts diploma program and a 21-week Company C Studio Ensemble. Students with significant industry experience may apply for a special 31 week Performing Arts Certificate program.

Expert instruction is offered in the comprehensive skills required for a stage or screen career as a singer, actor, and dancer. The Canadian College of Performing Arts offers a broad scope of studies led by seasoned professional instructors which will prepare students for versatility and longevity in the entertainment industry. Students are given instruction at international performance standards in order to give them every advantage in seeking jobs in Canada or around the world. Classes are offered in an intensive program at a college level. Instruction is tailored to meet the needs of high school, university or college graduates.
