Cory Scott

Urban Escapist from Victoria BC

Contact Details

Cory Scott

Cory was born a daydreamer in the prairie city of Brandon, Manitoba, and it was here where his love for art and travel was first realized. Adventures on his bicycle and an early talent for sketching soon grew into a love for photography, colourful urban scenery and world travel. By the time he reached his mid 30s Cory was living in Sydney, Australia and the beauty of his surroundings led him to buy his first set of acrylic paints and reignite his passion for creating art.

Now painting from his studio in Victoria, Cory focuses his work on crafting unique compositions to showcase the beauty embedded in everyday life in the city. When he’s not dreaming of his next trip back to the sunny shores of Australia you can find him cycling in Sooke, reading history on his couch, or taking reference photos of drab urban scenes to the astonishment of those around him.
