Join us from Friday, August 26th to Sunday, August 28th for a free, family-friendly festival that celebrates the diverse arts and culture community in Victoria, BC.
To close the festival on Sunday, August 28th, we’ve planned a day packed with arts-related activities, beginning with a guided bike tour starting at Wheelie’s Motorcycle Café at 11am. The festival will wrap up with lineup of talented performance artists and artistic demonstrations in the Market Square courtyard from 12pm to 4pm, including an aerial circus performance beginning at 2:30pm.
Melanie Furtado is a contemporary realist sculptor working in Victoria BC. She works with live models to create portraits and figures in clay that are rooted in traditional techniques and draw inspiration from the human experience.
