S.K. ROBOT are 3 guitars, keyboard, bass and drums barrage, and have proved you can make a more pleasant noise with so much audio stimulation available to them. Most of their songs are pocket Pop gems, very rarely more than 2 minutes long at most.
This 5 piece is a sort of low-key super group consisting of members of such fine Pop units (okay, that's stretching it even further) as: Cinderpop (who are working on a new album), Speed Buggy, the Liars,
Saddlesores.

One of the most critically-acclaimed indie songwriters in Vancouver,
Marq DeSouza is perhaps best known as lead singer/guitarist with the rock band Solarbaby. The group released two wildly diverse albums, "The Power Of Negative Prayer" and "Another Sidewalk's Bloody Dream,"
before finally disbanding in 2002. Both records were nominated for the prestigious Georgia Straight Music Awards, as well as placing high on the national college-radio charts. The band was also taped 'in-session' for CBC radio, appeared on the Much West television
program, and toured the country.
THE FEBRUARYS Vancouver quartet with loyal local following and growing national interest. Think Radiohead, Wilco, emotional but not EMO. Opening band of choice for Tegan & Sara, local heroes Limblifter and rock guittar/philosopher Matt Good who said in a recent Chart magazine "holy shit, these guys are good". Since he has told us on several occasions he know more than we do, who are we to argue
