Hailing from Norriston, Pennsylvania, Victoria based Louise Rose is an extraordinarily gifted vocalist/pianist/arranger. She has studied and worked with many familiar (and famous) names; among them, Aretha Franklin, Oscar Peterson, Ray Charles, and Leonard Bernstein. Beyond her musical prowess, Louise utilizes her ‘gift’ to inspire, heal, and motivate. Be treated to a night under Louise’s spell with the always amazing senior student jazz ensembles – “A” Band and NiteCap. This performance will mark our inaugural concert in partnership with one of Vancouver’s most cherished cultural institutions – the Vancouver East Cultural Centre.
