As one-half of the songwriting team in Blue Rodeo, Greg Keelor is part of one of Canada’s most beloved musical institutions. The roots-rock combo has sold millions of records worldwide and played thousands of gigs over the years, with each tour an event drawing fans from all over. Winners of multiple Juno awards, Blue Rodeo has released ten albums showcasing the songwriting, arranging and singing abilities of the band. Songs like “Five Days in May”, “Diamond Mine” and “It Could Happen to You” are stone-cold classics, while the group recently completed another hugely successful cross-Canada tour that saw Blue Rodeo play two nights at the Malkin Bowl in Vancouver.

But Greg Keelor is also a solo artist whose debut full-length, 1997’s Gone, was released to raves from critics and fans. Last year, he released Seven Songs for Jim, a touching tribute dedicated to his recently deceased father. Aphrodite Rose, Greg Keelor’s official follow-up to Gone, is slated for release this October, with a tour to follow.
