Luke Ramsey co-founded the Islands Fold residency, exhibits internationally and works in public art and freelance illustration. His client list includes The New York Times, Cartoon Network, Patagonia, The BC Children’s Hospital and more. His collaborative mural with Josh Holinaty won a National Urban Design Medal from the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada. Luke’s paintings have been acquired in collections with The Government of Canada and The City of Seattle. His book Intelligent Sentient? is published by Drawn & Quarterly, and was nominated for a Doug Wright Award. Luke was The City of Victoria’s first Artist in Residence for a two year term from 2016-2018. He currently resides on the Sunshine Coast, BC. His work is locally represented in Victoria by Madrona Gallery 606 View St.
