Event Description

Victoria Folk Music Society(VFMS) weekly gathering -- Everyone-welcome jam 6:45pm, Open Stage 7:30pm, Feature Performer Valdy at 9pm; Norway House, 1110 Hillside Avenue, $8 cash at the door

Valdy understands that people come to be entertained and tailors each of his shows (as many as two hundred a year!) to suit his audience. His distinctive voice and wry wit can be heard on classic, country, and campus radio stations across Canada and beyond, his songs reflecting the joys, struggles, and accomplishments in all of our lives while his guitar playing seems effortless.

Throughout the year, Valdy jams on bass guitar revealing the origin of his guitar-playing style that relies on the bottom end for the groove. A man of great talent and an even greater heart, the VFMS is thrilled to welcome Vlady back to our stage for the sixth time!!

For physical events that happen at a specific time. For example a concert, or dance performance. If there are multiple shows, you can still duplicate your event to cover them all.
