Event Description

This month featuring Resonance resident Njoki Njoki and support from the Resonance collective Njoki Njoki is a rising talent from Victoria, now based in Vancouver. Born and raised in Kenya, Njoki blends diasporic soundscapes layered with techno melodies to create a thoughtful musical experience. Njoki aims to bring an uplifted fantasy of diasporic African eclectic pride; deeply rooted in childhood memories. Intertwining between genres such as Baile, Afro, Neoperreo, Gqom and Amapinao, she blends a mixture of sounds and textures.
