Event Description

Join us as we continue to celebrate and honour Black History Month with an evening with author and poet Wayde Compton, along with a musical performance by the talented Caleb Hart!

Host and BCBHAS board member Megan Stuart will lead the evening guiding Wayde through questions about himself and his range of books, including his recent graphic novel. Following the conversation and reading there will be an acoustic set by Caleb Hart, followed by a book signing.

Refreshments provided. Admission by donation. Please only donate if you are not experiencing financial barriers. Doors open at 5:30 PM. Everyone welcome.

St. Ann's Academy is a National Historic Site boasting stunning restored historic interiors, including the Chapel and Auditorium.
