Event Description
The Academy Chamber Orchestra performs under the baton of guest conductor, Dennis Simons, Musical Director of the Shreveport Symphony Orchestra. The orchestra comprises students of the Victoria Conservatory of Music International Summer Academy in Performance and Chamber Music.
The programme includes the Suite in B Minor by J.S. Bach; Concerto Grosso Op. 6, No. 11 by Handel; Serenade for Strings by Elgar; and "Rufus" by Canadian composer, Michael Parker. There will also be a special performance by guest cellist, Richard Slavich, accompanied by Ronald Sat.
Tickets: $15 general / $12 students and seniors
