Lynda Lombardi

Confirmed: Apr. 28, 2017 (Awaiting Update)

Encaustic medium, impressionist and abstract from Victoria BC

Lynda studied Architectural Technology and Interior Design at Sheridan College in Ontario. She moved to Victoria in 2001 and worked as a kitchen designer before retiring and being introduced to encaustic medium. It was a wonderful medium to incorporate her love of photography but soon came to be passionate about the versatility and history of encaustic. The majority of photos she uses in her work are of the amazing land and seascapes of the south island. But she is also passionate about traveling to Italy and uses photos from her travels. Lynda is a member of the Victoria Arts Council and submits pieces to various shows throughout the year. She won the Prism's Choice Award in the Monday Magazine 2016 photo contest.
