New Orleans Rhythm and Blues was a direct pre-cursor to rock and roll and strongly influenced ska.

This evening will celebrate the music of early New Orleans funk including Lee Dorsey, Doc John, Johnnie Adams, Fats Domino and more!

New Orleans Louisiana Swamp Thing features the great Kelly Fawcett on vocals and guitar, Al Pease on the horn, Peter Dowse on bass, Matt Pease on drums, and Brooke Maxwell.

Don't miss these talented musicians sharing their reverence for the genre that started it all.
