Join us for our favourite holiday tradition, as VCM Presents proudly brings you the 16th annual Daniel Lapp’s Home for Christmas, on Friday, December 20 (7:30pm) and Saturday, December 21 (2:00pm and 7:30pm). These three performances bring together nearly 200 current students and VCM alumni to share a variety of Canadian Coast-to-Coast Christmas inspired tunes and welcome family and friends back to Victoria for the beloved holiday season.
Feel the Christmas spirit come alive as Daniel leads his legendary ensembles: the B.C. Fiddle Orchestra, Folkestra!, and the Joy of Life Choir, accompanied by the renowned Shiny H’ornaments, Swing’n Sheperds, and the Strings of Lights house band. Highlights include special performances by founder and director, Daniel Lapp, and Nicholas Fairbank, who will play “Cassie”, Alix Goolden Performance Hall’s beloved 1910 Casavant pipe organ.
Also joining us this year is special guest and B.C. Fiddle Orchestra Alum, Kendel Carson. Kendel has performed with the folk music band, The Paperboys, and is currently in the Beautiful Beautiful Band with Alan Doyle.
There’s no better way to warm the heart this Christmas Season than at Daniel Lapp’s Home For Christmas!
