RUBBERBANDance Group (RBDG) redraws the boundaries of contemporary dance, creating a unique blend of 1990s Westcoast hip hop and classical ballet that is sometimes humorous, sometimes serious.

Vic’s Mix is a remix of the work of RBDG founder and choreographer, Victor Quijada set to music including excerpts from Stravinsky’s Firebird, and other classical composers, Prokofiev, Verdi, Bach, Vivaldi, and original music written for the company by Jasper Gahunia. The piece challenges notions of theatricality.
