Brambles Child takes deep stock of the “un-nurtured” as we look at the effects of childhood trauma and neglect. A bramble’s growth is organic and without nurture, as is the child who experiences trauma or neglect, leaving scars and unease around typical issues of trust and boundary. Each takes their role in the unfolding of their story, and it may lead to healing and cleansing, and eventually — we hope — a child at play. In all of us there is a child, and in all of us is a story to be told. Our narratives live in our bodies as we move to convey our "brambled" story.
