Event Description

This spring, Open Space artist-run centre presents Field Guides For Listeners, a collaboration between sound artist Jenni Schine and visual artist Jay White, which examines the relationship between art and science through studying the effects of salmon farming on the Pacific Coast of B.C.

The opening reception will be held at Open Space Friday, April 12 from 7-10pm.
Saturday, April 13 Jenni Schine will lead a soundwalk through downtown Victoria from 1-3pm.
In the evening of Saturday April 13th, Jenni, Jay and Field Coast scientists will participate in Art, Science, and Salmon: Open Discussion from 7-9pm.

The gallery exhibition will run from April 12 through May 31, 2019, Tues-Sat, 12-5pm. Admission is free / by donation.
