No need to wait til summer to party with Pride cause Victoria's premier Drag King night and queer folks & friends dance party is bringing you WINTER PRIDE III: #NOCHILL on Saturday, January 5, 2019, at Capital Ballroom! Join us and the rest of the #yyjdrag family for incredible performances from some of Victoria's premier Kings, Queens, and Things, not to mention an amazing dance party with DJ Yeezy Yee!! Our awesome merch booth will be back too, with all kinds of queer goodies for any budget, PLUS Drag Bucks to tip the performers who really wow you!
Partial proceeds will go to Victoria Pride Society so come out and support the community while enjoying a night of fantastic performances and have a blast dancing with your friends! The King Fling team and Capital Ballroom staff are committed to providing a safe and inclusive space for everyone. This event is taking place on the traditional unceded territory of the Lekwungen people, now known as the Songhees and Esquimalt First Nations, on which we are guests.
ACCESSIBILITY:
- The main entrance has a long flight of stairs and at this time there is no ramp; however, if you require assistance with accessing the space, arrangements can be made with the professional and courteous security staff. Please contact us with any questions.
- There is seating once inside which is typically on a first-come-first-served basis, and folks tend to be punctual for King Fling events. If, due to mobility restrictions, you require seating to be able to attend the event, please contact us and we can look into making reservations.
- Both washrooms are located on the main floor once inside and will be for all genders.
