Known for her expressive fiddling style and delicate vocals, Qristina Bachand is a consummate performer who is clearly at ease on stage. Her contagious energy and love of Folk and Celtic music is always at the forefront as she captivates her audiences with energetic and spirited performances which showcase her fiddling and vocal talents. As a vocalist, Qristina enjoys performing a repertoire of original and traditional songs that bring out deep emotions with which people can easily relate. Qristina recently completed a Masters of Traditional Irish Music Performance at the Irish World Academy in Limerick Ireland. Along with brother Quinn, she has performed at major folk and Celtic festivals across Canada, the United States and Europe, earning a mantle-packing collection of awards and recognition, including two Irish Music Awards (Top Duo and Top Traditional Group). Qristina will be joined by Charlie Gannon on guitar.
Crikey Mor is a high powered traditional Irish music band that delivers a tightly arranged whirlwind of reels, jigs, polkas, and songs that will keep your spirit moving and your feet tapping. The group consists of Nancy Grossert on fiddle, Tasia MacKay on flute, Jeremy Walsh on guitar, Andrew Morris on bodhran and percussion, and all on vocals. Over the past 8 years Crikey Mor have steadily gained fans and become an Irish music staple performing at many local Celtic festivals and concert halls.
