Event Description

UPDATE: Please note the talk has been moved to Legacy Art Gallery, 630 Yates Street.

Open Space is collaborating with Legacy Gallery, UVic Visual Arts, and Camosun Visual Arts to present LA-based Canadian performance artist Cassils. Pushing their body to the extreme, Cassils evokes trans peoples’ struggles for self-defence and self-preservation against all too common threats of violence and erasure.///
