And the jazz lives on! The many, many years of performing in this delightful jazz club in Victoria that has become known world-wide and attracts an amazing calibre of talented touring musicians continues unabated. But through this, the local CanUS Jazz Band still going strong after 26 years continues to delight fans with their traditional jazz and swing repertoire. Vocals are a major part of their performances which stems originally from a love of the Boswell Sisters of New Orleans and arrangements that they still perform. The three part harmonies as well as individual vocals bring an extra dimension to their traditional jazz. Each member of this band is a star in his or her own right but it is what they do collectively that brings fans back year after year. Don't miss this eclectic and highly rated show. Formed in 1991 they spent 15 years touring jazz festivals in Canada, the U.S. and Mexico with the highlight being their concert at the millennium stage at the Kennedy Centre in Washington,D.C.
