Event Description
Come celebrate the 13th anniversary of CJSF 90.1 FM's presence on the FM airwaves (and its 50th year at SFU) at the Astoria Pub on November 19 from 8pm-2am. CJSF, SFU's campus-community radio station, is returning to the Astoria for its fourth straight year, with some of Vancouver's most exciting musicians.
This year, Mourning Coup and Mu will be bringing their experimental pop soundscapes to the stage, while art rockers Other Jesus, Swim Team, and Non La provide the angular dissonance for the night. The show will open up with a performance by Hick (Andrea Lukic from Nu Sensae), who crafts menacing, noisy sound pieces.
