Event Description

In celebration of World Oceans Day June 8, 2016, join the first interactive underwater cinematic experience at IMAX Victoria. You can see, hear, talk and share in the discovery of spectacular marine environments with scuba divers, in real-time, all without ever getting wet. 'Emerald Forest' is Fish Eye Project's first Live Dive into Giant Screen theaters allowing viewers to explore marine life in kelp forests. Watch our trailer: https://youtu.be/L2jjJiPl80k. WORLD OCEANS DAY EXPO
Along with the Live Dive experience, join the World Oceans Day Expo at the Royal BC Museum from 10am - 3pm. Exhibitors and entertainers will ensure an unforgettable time. Admission is free. There will be touchtanks, photo booth, face painting, and mermaids, along with over 20 exhibitors showcasing their initiatives.
