Event Description

Sotheby's International is pleased to present an evening of fine art featuring the artwork of, Richard Brodeur and Pattiann Withapea,. Richard Brodeur, also known as," King Richard", enjoyed a successful career as a professional hockey player in the NHL before establishing himself as a talented and popular artist. His paintings often depict scenes of children playing hockey on frozen ponds in rural Quebec, where Richard grew up. Pattiann Withapea is an up and coming painter with a celebrity clientele. Her distinctive and whimsical style has garnered global attention and to date, she has sold her work on six of the seven continents. Come and meet the artists and be one of the first to view and purchase paintings from the collections for their Spring-Summer 2016 Art Tour. Artists will be onsite for opening night only and will be signing all purchased originals in person. Wine and light hors d'oeuvres will be served.

Exhibit runs from April 1st, 2016 through April 22nd, 2016 ~ After opening night, admission will be by donation, with all proceeds going directly to the Pacific Autism Family Centre foundation, a registered charity serving all British Columbians.
