Event Description
The City of Gardens Chorus presents CHIC to CHIC ~ a terribly fun afternoon of fashion, tea and entertainment ~ on Saturday, March 12.
Starting at 1:30 pm at CFB Esquimalt’s Chief and Petty Officers’ Mess overlooking beautiful Esquimalt Harbour, guests will enjoy a sumptuous afternoon tea, a fashion show of modern and vintage clothing, door prizes, entertainment by gold medallists City of Gardens Chorus, and gift baskets galore!
Partial ticket proceeds to benefit the BC Cancer Foundation.
Guests will be greeted with a bit of ’bubbly’ and serenaded by singing quartets. Tea will be served by Chorus members outfitted in their own vintage clothing creations.
A terribly fun fashion show will feature:
• fabulous spring fashions from Melanie Lyne ~ “live it. love it. be it.”
• vintage fashions by Heritage Productions Victoria
The City of Gardens Chorus will showcase their gold medal-winning four-part harmonies. In November 2014, Sweet Adelines International judges awarded them the championship title of the Harmony Classic Division AA category for mid-sized choruses, which was limited to the top five choruses world-wide. City of Gardens Chorus is dedicated to excellence in vocal achievement and to the presentation of outstanding choreographed a cappella entertainment. We're happy to entertain at local events!
Looking forward to a terribly fun afternoon!
