Rock the Salish Sea Tour 2016
It’s Rock the Salish Sea Tour 2016 – an “eco” rock concert at the Cowichan Performing Arts Centre featuring The Wilds band, with Holly Arntzen and Kevin Wright performing original ocean hits including The Watershed Song and Salish Sea, and appearing with over 200 Saltwater Singers from Alex Aitken School. Proudly supported by the Pacific Salmon Foundation, Tire Stewardship BC and the Electronic Products Recycling Association, Rock the Salish Sea is dedicated to help raise awareness and educate people on conservation and protection of our cherished inland ocean, the Salish Sea.
Rock the Salish Sea at the Cowichan Performing Arts Centre is co-produced by the Somenos Marsh Wildlife Society and Wild Wings Festival, in collaboration with ART (Artist Response Team). All proceeds from this performance will help support their great conservation work in the Cowichan community.
