Event Description

Our 28th season opens with two of the most cherished members of Victoria’s musical community: bassist Gary Karr and pianist Harmon Lewis. Accompanied by our artistic director, Laura Backstrom on cello, they will present a rare performance of sonatas by Schubert and Grieg as well as showpieces by Paganini and Rossini.
Gary Karr, acclaimed as “the world’s leading solo bassist” (TIME magazine), is certain to provide an unforgettable performance.
