Paul iRuszel s an award winning, singer-songwriter with hundreds of songs: acoustic blues, sea shanties, folk, bluegrass and gospel. He embraces the old-time storytelling tradition where his songs are as much poetry as they are music. He has opened for Willie P. Bennett, Stephen Fearing, Ian Tamblyn and Ken Hamm. Paul mentioned he is immensely honoured to be playing with Bryon Thompson on dobro and vocals, Tom Horsfall on bass and vocals, and Tad Ruszel on mandolin and vocals. These fine musicians and vocalists form the nucleus of Paul’s recent CD, “Love This Town”. They are currently working on their second CD project, “The Trouble In Me”. All of these musicians are in high demand as sidemen and have their own solo careers.
