Event Description
Society for Indian Classical Arts (SICA), a student club at the University of Victoria presents "A Musical Journey from Khayal to Folk" An Indian (Hindustani) Classical Vocal Music Concert by Ramneek Singh (Vocals), Davinder Singh (Tar-Shehnai/Esraj) and Sunny Matharu (Tabla).
Ramneek Singh, an accomplished vocal artist of Indore Gharana along with Davinder Singh (Tar-Shehnai/Esraj) and Sunny Matharu (Tabla) presents an Indian Classical music concert of Ragas, Thumris, Bhajans, Shabad and Folk. Tar-Shehnai is a bowed string instrument similar to violin. Don't miss this exciting sounds of India concert right here in Victoria.
