Featuring the refined musicality that catapulted the ensemble to the top of the church choir category of the CBC’s choral competition four times (and three of them consecutively), Vancouver’s Christ Church Cathedral Choir and director/organist Rupert Lang present Fanfare!, a concert of works spotlighting the Kenneth Jones’ pipe organ and choral works to thrill and delight you.

From the “full organ” bravura of Aaron Copland’s Fanfare for the Common Man to the glorious Kyrie from Louis Vierne’s Messe Solennelle, to unaccompanied choral masterpieces by Arvo Pärt, Anton Bruckner, gems from the Sacred Harp tradition and more, Fanfare! highlights stunning music in one of Vancouver’s most beloved concert venues.
