Event Description
Develop your vocal ability, playing skills and your dramatic creativity.
This is a unique opportunity to work on several performance skills in one workshop, with 3 experts. If you like to sing this is the perfect opportunity for you to advance in a safe supportive group. If you also play an instrument, you will enjoy both worlds, and eve
ryone will enjoy the Musical Theatre sessions!
We will work on:
Learn tricks that help combat stage fright
Singing (and playing) with a live band
Learn instrumental skills that fit with the songs you're doing
Develop your own harmony parts
Incorporate a storyline through the use of text analysis or through the sequencing of the songs
Learn techniques from the musical-Theatre world that you could use in any performance or audition
Learn vocal techniques that will help you sound great for the rest of your life
Singing a solo won't be required, but is definitely a possibility! The workshop will end with a performance for your family and friends.
