FREE CITY COLLECTIVE
-------------------------------------
Free City Collective is a colossal soundscape from Vancouver, British Columbia. From their high-energy rock songs to the mellow melodies, the psychedelic rock band combines their catchy hooks and unique arrangements to get any crowd pumping. But their amazing musicianship speaks for itself and they are an act not to be missed.

IF WE ARE MACHINES
---------------------------------
Recently named one of the top ten musical acts in Vancouver by The Georgia Straight. Delicately crafted to achieve both subtle and climactic results, If We Are Machines have found their sonic niche and know exactly what to do with it. Blending their unique sound of layered, effected guitars with driving rhythms, it's most definitely a welcoming invitation to this collective's musical imaginings.

DEAD SOFT
-----------------
Dead Soft is people. Dead Soft is rock solid. Dead Soft will not eat your children. Dead Soft will whisper in your ear at 120 decibels. Dead Soft will serve you hot ice cream. Dead Soft won't wait for you to make the first move. Dead Soft doesn't have all day, but Dead Soft can party all night. Dead Soft is a band. Dead Soft is a band.

MIND OF A CHILD
------------------------------
We are Mind of A Child. What else can we say? We make good music. Our concern is not to adapt or change to any genre or particular taste; we go with what feels right to us and us only. It’s all about relationships: with music, with our audience, and most importantly, with ourselves. Through all the madness and haste of every day life, it’s comforting to be able to enjoy the world with all the content simplicity alive in the mind of a child. Cause after all, “where are all the rules that say that we’re confined to pretend that we’re not the way we used to be.”

JEAN-PAUL LANGLOIS ART SHOW!
---------------------------------------------------
"Jean-Paul was kicked out of two art schools on the west coast in the 90s but has gone on to paint and exhibit in Victoria, Vancouver, Toronto and Washington State. This latest series is inspired by spaghetti westerns, after the fall movies, undersea documentaries, and shark week. Florescent gunfighters and survivalists contrast with stark landscapes and under water wastelands populated by carnivorous sea life. This is his most cohesive collection to date and worth seeing in person...."

The Interurban Gallery is a wonderful multi purpose gallery/venue with exposed brick walls, big windows and high ceilings; in what was a train station at Vancouver's oldest address. Shows here are fun and cologne free. Let's keep it that way!
This charity event is conceived and executed by the morning Business Class at Nimbus School of Recording Arts.
