Event Description

A native of Victoria, BC 20-year-old Nikki Chooi now studies at the renowned Curtis Institute in Philadelphia. Nikki is one of the winners of the Canada Council Instrument Bank competition and has just been awarded the 1729 Guarneri del Gesù violin, valued at $4.3 million.
