this is brazilian flavoured music, relying on the beautiful melodies and rhythms from a distant country to transport you to a different world.. samba, bossa and swing combined with rich melody...

Antonio Carlos Jobim is perhaps the most famous composer from Brazil, having written many beautiful songs made popular by people like Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Stan Getz and other great singers and musicians over the past 50 years.. Girl from Ipanema, Chega de Suadade, Desafinado, One note Samba and numerous other songs have become well known to many jazz listeners thru the music of many well known jazz musicians... Diana Krall has opted to focus on this music in her latest recording, as have many others over the past 50 years..
We are an 8 piece musical group living in Nanaimo that would like to share this music with others.. I think you will really enjoy this..
