Event Description

This is going to be the kick off to an amazing four days of ska, reggae, jazz, soul, funk, punk, dancehall, Latin, folk and much more! Victoria's 8th Annual Ska Festival is pleased to be back in Market Square after a 5 year hiatus and both the Victoria BC Ska Society and Market Square are excited about these scheduled concerts. This is an all ages event with a licensed beer garden + merchandise tents. More information is upcoming about Victoria's 8th Annual Ska Festival so be sure to keep your eye on WWW.VICTORIASKAFEST.CA

The Soul Captives from San Francisco are making their second appearance at Victoria's Annual Ska Festival since their last appearance back in 2004 at Steamers Pub. They play some of the nicest ska/reggae/jazz in North America!

Mama Pulpa will make their way back to Victoria all the way from Mexico City. They play a mixture of ska/Latin styles and rock.

Uprite Dub Orchestra will make their second appearance on Victoria's Annual Ska Festival since their debut appearance back in 2004 at the festival's 5th Year Anniversary. Now the band is a 8-piece force of nature playing the sweetest dub, reggae and ska out of Portland, Oregon!
