About

Noiseconvulsion

since circa 2004
Noiseconvulsion is Grindcore band from Calgary, formed in mid 2004. The
line-up to date is a three piece, featuring scene veteran Ryan (Burger) on drums
(Chupacabra, Thorazine, E.I.D., Snowaxe), Pete (Thorazine, EID) on vocals and newcomer
Corey (Balls) on guitars.
The band is a step towards more agressive songwriting for myself and Ryan, the
focus of Noiseconvulsion being simple, fast, and furious. We are working in the
vein of bands like Napalm Death, Pig Destroyer, Dahmer, Fuck...I'm Dead, etc.
etc. basically a traditional grind to deathgrind sound. However, the new
material is progressing into more uncharted territory for us...
After months of practise the band will make its debut December 9th in Calgary
with friends Maniac Sumo Cunt and Alivia, plus we will have a CD-R of demo
material for our first 7", which we will be recording hopefully mid-febuaruy at
Alchemy Studios.
