Kayleigh Francis

Kayleigh Francis is a classical saxophonist currently based in Victoria, BC. She has an extensive performance history in many genres, including classical, pop, funk, jazz, big band, and community groups. She is experienced in both solo and group performances. She earned her Bachelor of Music (Performance) with Distinction in 2021 from the University of Alberta, where she studied under Dr. Allison Balcetis and Dr. William Street. She is currently pursuing her Masters of Music (Performance) at the University of Victoria, studying under Wendell Clanton.

Kayleigh grew up in Prince George, BC, and plans to return to the north to grow the musical community and spread her love of the saxophone and music with people in her hometown for years to come.
