The plan is simple; the vision, clear : Rock hard. Then, when you think you've rocked as hard as you can possibly rock, rock some more. Then rest. Rinse and Repeat. Formed in June of 2002, Jackdicky are : Cortez - lead vox/rythym guitar, Chris Kaboom - drums, B-Dub - lead guitar/vox, Mike Blammo - bass/vox. Dedicated and diverse, we will make a significant impact on the local scene, and beyond. Our sound ranges over a number of genres, including punk, rock, reggae, funk, and even a touch of country twang thrown in. With four strong-minded, creative individuals, there is no shortage of wild, creative ideas thrown around. Sorting through the best and the worst is a gruelling task at best, but the result is a tense, energetic, original sound which can't be mistaken for anything else but The Jack. Our first show as a group took place at J.J's Pub in Edmonton on October 4th, 2002. Shows at Fox, Red's and Urban Lounge soon followed, as our group of fans continue to grow. Since we're not exactly a Public Relations machine, we put a lot of it down to word of mouth from the people who have seen the show. Energy, energy, energy. If the people ain't movin, we're not doing our job, and we take pride in always putting on a fun, energetic show every time we're up there.Unknown
