VICTORIA ARTS COUNCIL CALL TO ARTISTS: ART IN THE ALLEY 2019

The VAC is organizing an opportunity for artists to showcase their work in the unique setting of Dragon Alley.

This Call is open to visual artists and craftspeople interested in having a table Saturday 24 August 2019 from 10am to 3pm.

Fee to participate: $50 for VAC Members / $100 for Non-Members (includes annual membership)

The VAC is sponsoring 1 table for a member who identifies as under-employed or unable to meet the financial requirement of participating in this activity. Please indicate if you would like to be considered for this sponsorship in your one-page application.

Space is limited to 15 artists (the VAC has two folding tables to those in need, first come/first serve, otherwise the table is the responsibility of the participating artists).

This is a juried selection for our Membership. Artists interested in applying for this opportunity are encouraged to put together a brief description of their work and what they would bring to this unique setting, along with a selection of five recent images from their portfolio.

Morning coffee and muffin + lunch will be provided to all artists participating in this event.

The previous Art in the Alley garnered an audience of 800 people in a single day… don’t miss this chance to show off you work, make some sales in the process, and be part of the vibrant art community here in Victoria!
