Arts On View Society

The Arts On View Society continues to operate Hermann's Jazz Club and promotes 300+ shows per year.

The Arts On View Society was originally created in 2016 as the Jazz On View Society in an effort to secure Hermann's Jazz Club and the building which houses it. In 2019, with the generous support of our donors, the society became Arts On View Society and secured a 5 year lease to operate HJC and it's neighbouring pub the View Street Social. In 2021 the AOV also leased the second floor and opened Hermann's Upstairs. On March 18th, 2024 the City of Victoria became the owners of the building and Hermann's Jazz Club which the AOV continues to operate.
