Heldor Schäfer

Heldor made his living as a journalist, editor, and publisher for two decades before turning to a career in the theatre, both as a playwright and stage director. He has adapted and translated other authors' works, while his own plays have been performed in Canada, the USA, Europe, and the Middle East. Heldor is the founder of Island Playwrights, an organization that encourages and supports authors creating new works for the stage.
