Eli's music fits nicely into the extremely popular niche of acoustic scrap-indie post-prog-folk employing guitars, ukuleles, harmonicas, stomping, clapping, and an inflamed sense of belonging. Songs weave together stories and thematics, telling tales of ages-cursed civil war soldiers, astronauts facing ontological crises, bandits, bankers, and transients. Not that he's actually been any of these. He's just a big musical liar.
