details
Scott Jacobs is a young and up and coming Canadian Singer-Songwriter from Vancouver Island, Canada. He has studied jazz music at Vancouver Island University and graduated with a diploma in Jazz Performance.
Most recently he has recorded a 12 track LP entitled “Sleepless Dreams” with the help of notable Canadian Mix Engineer Josh G. Bowman. Drawing upon Indie-Folk, Folk-Rock, and Pop-Rock influences, the album features lyrically diverse original songs about the life and experiences of a travelling musician. Sonically, it features songs with delicate fingerpicked acoustic guitar, pedal steel, and soft falsetto vocals, all the way up to raucous Indie-Rock songs with bluesy and crunchy electric guitar, pounding drums, and distorted vocals.
Since 2013, Scott has also performed as a singer-guitarist for 4 different cruise lines. Previously to “Sleepless Dreams”, he has released two entirely self-recorded, mixed and produced albums entitled “Reflection of our Lives” and “This Small Town” which combined have sold well over 2500 physical copies (CD’s).
