Giggling Iguana Productions was founded in 1998 by Ian Case. The company originally mounted productions in the McPherson Playhouse after Capital Comedy Theatre ended their long run of British farces in that venue. The company produced three shows at the Mac, Charley's Aunt, Taking Steps and Equus. In 2000, the company moved operations to Craigdarroch Castle where it produced 15 years of site specific theatre and became well known for it's Victorian horror themed Halloween productions. The company is currently on hiatus, though founder Ian Case continues to be active in the local arts community on various fronts.
