The Babayaga String Quartet

The members of Vancouver’s Babayaga String Quartet discovered their shared passion for jazz in 1986 and have been delighting audiences ever since. The quartet has toured extensively throughout Canada and has collaborated with many outstanding musicians: pianist Miles Black, saxophonist Bill Runge, and vocalists Sheila Jordan and Dee Daniels among them. The group’s signature sound is heard in arrangements of jazz masterworks and original compositions influenced by the languages of jazz, pop, and rock.
