The Us Band

A new up and coming band, based here in Nanaimo, is revolutionizing the Vancouver Island music scene with its very unique sound. 'The Us Band' is a dynamic acoustic rock band playing mostly original music along with some carefully chosen covers with a catchy sound that appeals to audiences of all ages.
Their unique sound is derived from the instrumentation of the band which includes cello and acoustic guitar and 2 & 3 part vocal harmonies.
The band is rapidly becoming one of the busiest and hardest working bands on Vancouver Island. The Us Band has also been selected to play in the BC Summer Games Opening ceremonies on August 1st, which will garner national exposure on Global TV.
The Us Band will be releasing their debut album on July 19th at the Bailey Theatre in Nanaimo, BC.
