Philly-Jo Shinbone (Drums, Percussion, Vocals) graduated from Malaspina University College?s Jazz Studies Program in 2003. He can play literally any genre of music you can think of.
Currently, he works with Papazeeta (funk, founding member), Amoral Minority (pop/rock, hired gun), the Sam Shumka trio (jazz, hired gun), as well as his new cover band Calvinball (nostalgia covers). He was an integral part of the Extra Virgin Oil power trio. He has played with too many musicians to name, but a small list would include Christine Jenson, Matt Carter (Kiltlifters), Steve Jones, Pat Coleman, the list goes on and on.
While Currently working on his Hip-hop chops, Philly-Jo strives to play everything from Bach to Bachman from a jazz drummer's perspective.
