Although her father is an orchestra conductor and her mother a classical singer, Korean born vocalist Youn Sun Nah was destined for the world of jazz, coming into her own a decade ago in the clubs of Paris. Now a multiple award-winner with six CDs to her credit, including 2008’s Voyage, she has matured into one of the most virtuosic and dramatic vocalists of her generation, with a voice that is versatile, poised, and powerful. Youn Sun Nah performs with Swedish guitarist Ulf Wakenius, a brilliant jazz veteran whose collaborators have ranged from Pat Metheny and Ray Brown to Johnny Griffin and Jack DeJohnette.
