Davidson/Murley/Braid Quintet (DMBQ) is a truly collaborative effort amongst Juno Award winners Mike Murley saxophone and David Braid piano, and 2008 Juno Award nominee for “Traditional Jazz Album of the Year”, Tara Davidson saxophone. DMBQ represents world-class improvisation with lyrical grace, contemporary harmony and rhythmic vitality. Each leader contributes a mini catalogue of their original compositions for DMBQ.
